    • The Barnes and Noble Nook Color won the People’s Choice Award at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show, also led to a 67% increase in holiday sales for B&N
    • Droid Incredible stops bullet, saves man’s life
    • Nielsen released an updated look at smartphone market share: Since the release of the iPhone, Apple’s market share increased .7%. Android gained 10.8% more to reach 25.8%, which is only 2.8% behind Apple.  Android also represents 40% of all smartphones purchased since June.
    • Android 2.2 now at 51.8% of the market. 2.1 at 35.2%, and 2.3 at .4%.
    • Android users now outnumber iPhone users in the US according to comScore.
    • Business Insider suggests that Android on Tablets means there is no need for Chrome
    • Motorola Atrix 4G – Will Docked phones replace the netbook?
    • Dan Morill asserts there is no minimum requirements for Honeycomb as previous rumors had suggested
    • Engadget talks with Matias Duarte, the man who is now heading up the user experience for Android.

    • Amazon’s Android App Store open to Developers – Approval process(supposedly to be about a week), no porn or illegal apps. Amazon has full control over pricing, but you set a list price and you get 70% of the sale, and are guaranteed 20% of your list price. Pluses: Amazon’s recommendation engine, web-based market. Will this increase fragmentation?
    • Verizon to cut return policy to 14 days and upgrade policy to 20 months. Sprint users gloat.
