    • Looking for a cheap quality 7″ tablet with the Play Store, consider the latest Nook tablet.
    • Google tries to improve its process of identifying and removing fake reviews on Google Play.
    • Google Play Services version 10 will be the last to support Gingerbread(2.3). Starting in 2017, devices will need to run 4.0.1 or later to get new versions of Play Services.  Gingerbread was released in December of 2010.
  • App News
    • SwiftKey update brings redesigned hub with clipboard shortcuts, new languages, and more.
    • VLC 3.0 will support 360-degree video. Initially, this will be Windows or Mac, with Android support coming in 2017.
    • Netflix allows offline downloads.
