    • Android Distribution updated, Lollipop at 3.3%, KitKat at 40.9%, JellyBean 42.6%, ICS is 5.9%, Gingerbread 6.9%, Froyo 0.4%.
    • It looks like Drive will be taking over Google+ Photo Backup
    • Rumor is that Huawei might make a Nexus device.
    • Google’s MVNO Nova carrier will only offer service on Nexus 6.
    • Microsoft executive believes Android is vulnerable and Windows 10 will help them steal its users
    • Google introduces Nearby Connections API, which allows a smartphone to become a controller for an Android TV device.
    • Google no longer requiring OEMs to encrypt new devices with Lollipop, just recommending.

    • Update to Hangouts Android app allows external guests to join video calls with a meeting link provided.
    • BeyondPod update brings dark theme, compact cards, Android Wear, etc.

    • Softcard app shutting down March 31st, all accounts closed.
    • Barnes and Noble releases Nook 4.0 software, proving Nook still exists.
