    Gentlemen,

Thanks for using my email on air. ?

The reason I suggested Raspberry Pi as possible home for MQTT server is it’s so inexpensive (!) and can easily run several server tasks. As a sever it has low power consumption.

RasPi has an enormous base of users and third party add ons. As we journey into open software/hardware for home automation, RasPi is a reasonable tool (among others).

Really excited your podcast is expanding into this new area. Keep up the good work.

P.S. any reason you didn’t not introduce yourselves by name at beginning (or end?) of the podcast? I *think* the guy with a router issue is “Guru” (cool nickname. Is he hiding from authorities? ?
