    • “Hi, in reply to your request for feedback in episode 403. Carry on as your are! At home in the UK and been listening to you both since I started to download podcasts and always look forward to your weekly banter. Thanks”
    • I listened to Episode 403 today. I pretty much agree with the guy who complained about excessive amount of low value-add content in the prior week, episode 402. After listening last week I seriously considered unsubscribing. It was boring and not worth my time. I thought “No, I should send feedback.” Yes, some podcasts are mainly casual banter. Others just get down to business. The Verge blends the chatter (infused with attitude) with solid if very opinionated information.  Daily Tech News Store (DTNS) starts off with under a minute of hi, how are you banter, then the news. Suggestion: agree to experiment with limiting the non Android, non home automation discussion to two minutes max at the start of the show. then get cracking with content. Just make the change, dont spend 15 minutes talking about this tweak to your show. I would like to hesr more home automation stuff. Ignoring Android hardware makes sense, there are so many podcasts filling time with rumirs ir discussion of what color of phone they prefer. Cover Android software and someee hardware such as those add-on camera lenses you tskked about. i wish you had told us more. Are they mainly very wide angle eauxillary lenes or some telephoto stuff? how much of a hit foes one incur on apeture, I am guessing at leat one full F stop.In conclusion, three words to live by: Always add value.
    • I have enjoyed your podcast for years. I do think a bit if rework would be helpful. Some feedback: I’m motivated to learn new things. At one point, I had multiple Android podcasts in my feeds. You are the last and this operating system is mature. The news tends to be small and incremental in nature. I was excited about your shift to home automation. I had trouble following it from the audio. It would have been helpful to build a bit of a foundation first. I was a bit disappointed that this has wound down. I only have so much time in the day for listening. I’m regularly dropping podcasts and trying new ones. I give new ones three episodes before I make a decision to keep or drop them. On most podcasts, I give them 5 minutes (at 140% speed), and I will skip forward if they haven’t got to the point. Banter makes the podcast more interesting, but it isn’t why I listen to them. Audiobooks are more engaging than pure banter, and my library has more than I could hope to keep up with. My suggestion is to find a technical subject that fits this format and move toward it. I like your style and your production quality is good. As an alternative, release shorter and/or at a lower frequency as this topic continues to wind down.
