    • People complain Sprint won’t unlock their iPhone 4. Sprint’s iPhone 4 lacked a SIM card slot. The new standards for unlocking devices don’t go into effect till 2015, and the companies will have to offer this.
    • LG releases open source Connect SDK, wants every TV to behave like Chromecast. It supports a variety of devices, including Roku, Fire TV, webOS, etc. It is an abstraction layer to avoid custom implementations for every device.
    • TWC rolls out Hotspot 2.0 networkwide on its wifi hotspots.

    • Google may be trying to create a sub-$100 Nexus phone using Mediatek processors.
    • Android developer Koush leaves Cyanogenmod Inc and returns to ClockworkMod.
    • “Easy Unlock” feature found in ChromeOS source code, could unlock your Chromebook when your phone is in range.
    • Google lets users send backed up photos from their phones via the web Gmail client.

    • Pushover for Android adds Tasker support…perhaps in response to competitor Pushbullet

    • Google Calendar updated, now suggests locations of nearby places and lets you join video calls in Hangouts.
    • Doggcatcher now casting to Chromecast.
    • YouTube for Android updated, brings Live Video Casting to Chromecast
    • Google releases Stock Camera App to the Play Store. (Play Link)
    • BBC iPlayer users in the UK can now download videos on any Android Device.
    • Allcast updated with beta support for casting from Google Drive
